We’ve handled before how LaVar Ball, parent of UCLA star Lonzo Ball, has become the talk of March Madness thanks to his big mouth.
Now none other than LeBron James has outlined a line in the sand.
Lonzo is arguably best available player in college basketball despite being merely a newcomer. But it’s LaVar who’s embezzled the display repeatedly in recent weeks through his boasts.
LaVar said he could’ve beat Michael Jordan one-on-one back in the day. LaVar said he craves a billion-dollar shoe deal for his three sons( LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball will follow Lonzo to UCLA ). LaVar has been roasted on Twitter for his boast directions, repeatedly.
But it’s a recent fleck of bloviation that has LeBron ticked off.
“Keep my kids’ call out of your mouth, stop my family out of your mouth, ” James told ESPN.com on Tuesday. “This is dad to dad. It’s a number of problems now.”
What exactly has best available basketball player on Earth so perturbed? LaVar examined James’ sons, 12 -year-old LeBron James Jr. and 9-year-old Bryce Maximus James, during a recent impression on a podcast called “In the Zone with Chris Broussard”.

That seemed at the time like a needlessly special reference to James’ minors, who’ve become internet perceptions in the youth basketball scene.
Those waiting for a response from James now requirement wait no more.
“He can talk all about his firebrand, talk about his sons, talk about basketball, talk about me, ” James told ESPN on Tuesday. “But stop my family out of this.”
